Terms of Service

Effective date: April 18, 2026  ·  Applies to drewui.com and the DrewUI DCOMP desktop application

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the DrewUI website at drewui.com or the DrewUI DCOMP desktop application ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software or any related services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DrewUI LLC ("DrewUI", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or downloading the Software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

2. Description of Service

DrewUI DCOMP is a desktop video editing application for Windows designed for creating 9:16 vertical gaming content. The Software runs as an Electron-based desktop application and processes video files locally on your machine.

The service includes:

  • The DrewUI DCOMP desktop application for Windows
  • Access to the drewui.com website for account management, billing, and support
  • Software updates and new features released during your active subscription period

DrewUI reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of significant changes.

3. Account Registration

To use DrewUI DCOMP, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. Authentication is handled through Supabase.

By creating an account, you agree that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You will notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

DrewUI is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription & Payment

DrewUI DCOMP is offered under the following pricing plans:

  • Monthly -- $5.99/month, billed monthly, auto-renews
  • Yearly -- $59.99/year, billed annually, auto-renews
  • Lifetime -- $59.99 one-time payment, permanent access

Billing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method according to the plan you choose. DrewUI does not store your full credit card information.

Auto-Renewal

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period -- you retain access until then.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Within 7 days of purchase: Full refund available for any reason. Contact us to request one.
  • After 7 days: No refunds are available for Monthly or Lifetime plans.
  • Yearly plans after 7 days: Prorated refunds may be issued at our discretion based on the remaining time in the billing cycle.

To request a refund, email drewviehmann@gmail.com with your account email and the reason for the request.

5. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your active subscription (or Lifetime purchase), DrewUI LLC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the DrewUI DCOMP software on your personal device(s).

This license is for a single user. Each license is tied to one DrewUI account and may not be shared with others.

Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Reproduce, copy, or duplicate the Software or any part of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software
  • Redistribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or sell the Software or access to it
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks in the Software
  • Use the Software on behalf of a third party without a separate license

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the DrewUI DCOMP software, the drewui.com website, and all associated content (including but not limited to code, design, graphics, logos, and documentation) are and remain the exclusive property of DrewUI LLC. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

The DrewUI name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of DrewUI LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

Your content is yours. DrewUI does not claim any ownership rights over the videos, images, or other content you create using the Software. You retain full rights to your own work.

7. User Content

DrewUI DCOMP processes video files locally on your device. We do not upload, access, store, or transmit your video files to our servers. Your creative work stays on your machine.

You are solely responsible for the content you create using the Software. You represent and warrant that any content you produce does not violate the rights of any third party and complies with all applicable laws.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DrewUI DCOMP and associated services in a lawful and responsible manner. You may NOT:

  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with authentication, license checks, or any security features of the Software
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Software or the DrewUI website
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to DrewUI systems, servers, or other users' accounts
  • Use the Software to produce content that is illegal, promotes violence, or exploits minors
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.

9. Beta Features

From time to time, DrewUI may offer access to beta features, tools, or early-access functionality. These features are provided "as-is" and "as-available" without any warranties of any kind.

Beta features:

  • May contain bugs, errors, or incomplete functionality
  • May be changed, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice
  • Are not guaranteed to become part of the final product
  • May have separate terms or conditions that apply in addition to these Terms

By using beta features, you acknowledge and accept these risks. DrewUI is not liable for any issues, data loss, or disruptions caused by beta features.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the DrewUI DCOMP software and all associated services are provided "as-is" and "as-available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

DrewUI LLC does not warrant that:

  • The Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
  • The Software will meet your specific requirements
  • Any defects in the Software will be corrected
  • Your data or files will be preserved in the event of a software malfunction

In no event shall DrewUI LLC, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or content, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software, even if DrewUI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

DrewUI's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid to DrewUI in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. You may also request account deletion by contacting us.

By DrewUI: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to DrewUI, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the Software is immediately revoked
  • You must uninstall and cease all use of the Software
  • DrewUI may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply after termination.

12. Changes to Terms

DrewUI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

Your continued use of the Software or the DrewUI website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should stop using the service and cancel your subscription.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of DrewUI DCOMP shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
